I brought in a piece of art that belonged to my late grandmother. It’s not a valuable piece, but it’s sentimental - something she loved that I hold onto to remember her by. The frame broke and the glass shattered. I was frustrated with myself and came in thinking I’d just get a simple black mat cut and buy a separate frame. Heba took one look at the piece and immediately had a vision for it. She suggested a light blonde wood frame instead, explaining that the black mat I wanted would actually compete with the iridescent effect - the very thing my grandmother loved about it. I trusted her professional judgment and I’m glad I did. She reframed the piece in under two hours, and the result is beautiful. The silver now pops the way it’s supposed to.
